Dr. Haytoglu is a board-certified Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical experience.

Dr. Haytoglu graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey’s top medical school in Ankara, Turkey in 1996 and completed his Internal Medicine specialty training at St. Barnabas Hospital / Weil Medical College of Cornell University in New York in 2000.  Dr. Haytoglu then completed an Endocrinology sub-specialty fellowship at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center in 2002 and completed an advanced clinical fellowship in preventive cardiology in VA Boston HCS/ Harvard Medical School in 2003.

Prior to joining Socal Endocrinology, Dr. Haytoglu was Director of Endocrinology Services at Telemed2u, Inc/ Inland Endocrine,  Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine and Director of Medical Specialties in Arnot Health in Elmira, NY and Chief of Division of Endocrinology at the American Hospital of Istanbul, Turkey.

Dr. Haytoglu’s clinical expertise include state of the art diabetes and metabolic disorder management, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) management, lipid disorders, thyroid disease, thyroid cancer, osteoporosis, parathyroid and calcium metabolism disorders, hirsutism, androgen excess and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and various hormonal disorders relating to pituitary, adrenal and gonadal glands.
